Five years ago, I had a pelvic laparoscopy. I did
not have endometriosis either; instead, I had extreme
scar tissue, adhesions and lesions binding up my
reproductive organs. I was not aware of having a
pelvic inflammatory disease, but that is what the
doctor said caused it.
I had been trying to get pregnant also. The surgery
freed my tubes and ovaries. After four years, the
pain returned. A few weeks ago, I had another procedure.
Now, my tubes are wound around my ovaries. The left one
is completely closed, but the right is still open. My
current doctor said that the reason for this, is because
scar tissue returns after things have been removed.
My periods have been irregular. I am still trying to
get pregnant at 35. I have a minimal chance on my own,
but my physician said that I am a perfect candidate
for in-vitro. Good luck.
