will an adhered, retroverted uterus cause miscarriage

I have recentlyhad an ultrasound which shows I have
a retroverted uterus and also shows there is an
immobile section. I have been told it is likely my
uterus is adhered to my bowel by endometriosis (I
have other endometriosis symptoms). I have one doctor
telling me my uterus needs to be unstuck and repositioned
otherwise there is no room for the uterus to move when I
get pregnant and I will miscarry. I have another
doctor saying this is wrong and the bowel would just
move with the uterus and having this procedure is
unnecessary. He also says it is the "old way"
they did things.
Anyone know who is right? I need a laparoscopy
either way but I want to get the right procedure
done and I don't know who to trust - both are adamant
they are right.
Thanks
Julie
