I am still in the early stages of trying to figure this out. My adhesions are not GI (I hope) but to my diaphram, ribs etc, I have trouble and pain breathing, twisting (also eating large meals) etc. I have now spoken to quite a few women who had similar outcomes some years ago, they all resolved it through multiple surgeries to remove the adhesions.

So far I've done six weeks of intense pt and started accupuncture (at the advice of a gp). The PT helped regain some flexibilty but then stalled out the accupuncture seems to reduce pain but so far no improvement in function. I'll go to a new GP and return tot he original surgeon tomorrow.

My accupuncturist says gallbladder problems, in chinese medicine also are related to adhesions or the tendency to form them.

I'd love to hear what others are doing since i'm not sure what path to follow.
