Karen,
It depends on a lot factors. Have you had
multiple surgerys? How long was it after surgery,
the same pain came back? Have you been to a GI
specialist to rule out any other facts? Have you
ever had a colonoscopy? What type of surgery
did you have? Is the pain constant or does it go
away and comeback. You should contact your primary
care doctor and give him the letter Dr. Wiseman
wrote for those who suffer with ARD to your own
doctor so that he/she has a better understanding
what you are going through. Also there is a
