7 year old with adhesions

Hi! I posted a message last week about my 7 year old son suffering from intestinal blockages due to adhesions. I am a bit confused about something that maybe you all can help me with.

His surgeon told me to keep him on a high fiber diet but everything I've been reading in this forum says the opposite. I know I am suppose to make sure she "moves" regularly and he has since the surgery. I do have to say that he hasn't been in a couple of days now. Should I be concerned and what should I do to try to keep him regular?
