Amy;

BEWARE or having a laparotomy. You could end up twice as bad as you are now with a lap. You should be consulting an Adhesion Specialist who can try to strip down these adhesions via a laparoscope. It may take more than 1 surgery, but it may save your life! If you are this bad off, you should be seeing ONLY an adhesion specialist.

Adhesions can come from a few things; Surgery is No. 1, but infection or injury (even as a child) can be the cause as well. Ovarian cysts have been known to cause some, and most women don't even know they have the cysts as they normally dissipate on their own.

Please see a specialist in this field. I would hate to see you turn out worse than you are now. Be careful, this is YOUR body and cutting an adhesion sufferer open is NOT the answer. Take it from someone who knows.....

Hey Guys, Okay I got a copuple of questions. I just had a laparoscopy surgery on the 24th, so my gyn could try to figure out why i'm in so much pain etc.

Well he told me after wards that he couldn't do anything, because my adhesions were so bad.
