I have been to a gastro specailist to day because of the pain I have been having and the problems with my bowel.
After havinga coloscopy last month which came back normal the specailsit thinks I have IBS . This is despite having a report from my surgeon who removed my gallbaldder and a diverticular on the stomach which states that he had problems operating due to thick bands of adhedsions on the right side.
He told me that if it is not IBS then it could be Endo returning with a small chance that it is adhedsion.
I am having a CT scan next week but I know if it is adhesions or Endo it probably will not show. I feel this is waste of time in ways but I suppose that I need to have some comfort that it is nothing more serious.
He has given me pain relief but I feel that once again I fighting a losing battle.
Could Endo come back though when overies and uterus have been removed ???
