back and flank pain with adhesions

I have had 4 abdominal surgeries: Laparotomy for
endometriosis, hysterectomy and clean up for endo,
ureter reimplanted in bladder, clean up for adhesions.
I had the last surgery in Jan '05 and am now in
the same amount of pain that I was before. My pain
is mostly in the low back and flank area on the
left side. I have some pelvic pain but mostly on
the side. I have been told by the surgeons that
it is from the adhesions and bowel pain. Bowel
was stuck to the somach wall and all. Does anybody
also have back and flank pain in addition to
pelvic pain?
