Have you talked to your pain management specialist
about your concerns about "addiction"? In the case
of pain management, you can become dependant, but
not addicted-there is a major difference. Addicts
abuse drugs. People with chronic pain use them in
order to have a normal life. That little public
service announcement out of the way <G> (from
someone who has been on, and, when the time came,
quite easily off,everything including methadone
for pain control)have you tried Orudis (Ketoprofen)
or Lodine (Etodolac) two NSAIDs that are still
on the market? For now, anyway. I've found
Lodine to be very effective.
