I live on a liquid nutritional product (for me,
right now, Peptamen) and some baby foods, strained
soup, jello... Eventually, the pain I had associated
with eating seems to have overwhelmed any desire
to eat normally. My doc and I have decided on no
more surgery unless I have a full obstruction.
Have you talked to a dietician about a diet designed
to minimize your discomfort? My current diet is
somewhat extreem, there are other diets you may
try that may reduce your symptoms without completely
eliminating "regular" food (the "Gastrointestinal
Two Diet" is one-this is a low fat, low insoulable
fiber diet).
