Your ileus resolved so you have time to seek
other input on what to do.
You may wish to see someone other than a surgeon
for an opinion on this-surgeons want to cut, that
is what they are trained to do. There are various
causes of ileus-there is even idiopathic ileus
(no known cause). A good gastro may be able to
help you sort this out, and explain your options.
I've had ileus several times. It resolves. So far.
