That depends on an enormous number of factors, such as
if Zelnorm is removed from the market, how long you live
(if you die next week obviously the answer is yes, you
can take Zelnorm for life-LOL!)if they come up with a
better drug in the meantime, if you have to have any
surgery and do develop adhesions, if the cause of your
chronic constipation is found and effectively treated,
if Zelnorm quits working for you...see where this is
going? Medication is a matter of trial and error.Some
things work, some things work long term, some don't.
I've got an anti-spasmotic here I've taken since 1972.
Zelnorm is a new drug. You'll just have to see how
it works out.
