Re: adhesions?

That is exactly the symptoms I had before I discovered my problem was adhesions. It started with the fluttering you're talking about. It used to drive me crazy! It was always on my lower left side. I used to say it felt like there was a little person inside me just poking and tapping with a pointer finger, from the inside. Soon after that I developed MASSIVE bowel and digestive problems. I have pain like the sharp, shooting, stabbing pains that some describe, which come and go.

But no pain like the others who are living on pain medication. But I have the digestive troubles to the extreme! The first surgery I had after all the fluttering feelings showed that the right side of my large intestine was actually pulled all the way over to the left and stuck to the left side of my large intestine, and then stuck to the left abdominal wall. Everything was pulled so far over to the left that the doctor could see my spine without moving anything out of the way! Also, the left side of my large intestine was scrunched up like an accordian.

I think that may have had to do with the poking feeling. I asked the doctor if he thought that fluttering feeling I had was the adhesions pulling, and he said probably. My adhesions were started with a severe case of bowel endometriosis. Three surgeries more with an endometriosis specialist and I still cannot eat very much. I have massive adhesions every single time, and they come right back. I still get the poking feeling once in a while, but not nearly as much as I used to.
