Please be careful with the senna products.
Even though they are marketed as "natural",
senna is a powerful stimulant laxative. For
folks like us with long term constipation issues,
daily use of stimulant laxatives can ultimately
make the problem worse because the colon
becomes dependent on the stimulant. At least,
that's what all my gastro
docs have told me over the years!
