You might have him try you on Methadone. They start at the lowest dose and move up if needed. It has a stigma attached to it but I think it is an alternative to some of the pain meds.
I think most drs. feel that it is an lost job to do adhesion surgery because they come back. They can also come back worse.
Also, it takes a lot of skill to really do a good job at removing them.
