Fellow Adhesion Sufferer seeking help

Hi-
I'm a 44 year old woman who's suffering (yet again) from adhesions in my
abdomen since a gall bladder surgery 2 years ago. All other abdominal
tests have turned up negative and they're sure that it's adhesions. I
have pain from the top of my ribs down to below my navel on the right
hand side. I can no longer walk for more then a few minutes or sit up
for more then a few minutes. Even sitting at my computer is now scary
and painful. Taking a shower for me is now a major undertaking.
I've been to the pain clinic over the course of 2 years and have had
multiple injections in my abdomen, as well as physical therapy. Nothing
helps. I'm looking at possibly having another surgery to remove the
adhesions but I know they grow back and can even be worse.
The only thing that seems to help even slightly (besides not moving), is
valium to help relieve the muscle spasms, which I take sparingly.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or have the name of a good
adhesion specialist in Arizona?
I feel like I've lost my entire life from adhesions. There are no
support groups in my area and I really have no one to talk to about it.
I recently lost my dog to cancer and want another one badly but can't
even have that because now I can't even train one or walk one from these
stinkin' adhesions.
I could use some advice/support/whatever anyone has to offer.
My heart goes out to you all with adhesions too.
