Valerie,

I just want you to know that I agree with you 100%. I wish I was lucky enough to get away without needing surgery. Some people think I actually LIKE having surgery. I feel that each of us have to do what is best for us & that we know our own body & how much we can take.

I just had a laparoscopy. The one before was 10 months earlier. I wait till I am in VERY bad shape before I go in for the lap. I know when the meds arent working & when it is time for me. I noticed the difference in the pain within days of surgery. I know that now i can start functioning again & I will appreciate it for as long as I can. If I am lucky, maybe I can get a year out of this lap. If not, well then I guess i will take whatever I can get.
