I to have been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. You are right about getting help. I am lucky enough to have a great urologist. It seems that my symptoms for it actually bother me a lot less than the adhesions.

I know what you mean about the doctor saying he doesnt deal but with one area. When I had my last child I was admitted a week later with congestive heart failure and an upset stomach and cramping from delivery. The only doctor that was helping me was the cardiologist and when I told him my other concerns he said he just dealt with the heart. I ended up going home with a uterine infection and an infected gallbladder. The emergency gallbladder surgery 3 weeks later (that should have been caught at the hospital) is what gave me these dumb adhesions.

I have learned through all of this that you have to stand up for yourself. I wonder what would happen to doctors if we had the ability to fire them. They work for us but they act like they are doing us a favor.

I hope things get better for you real soon!
