Left side abdominal pain

Has anyone experienced upper left side abdominal pain that comes and
goes but has been happening for about 6 years? I have had 3 abdominal
surgeries. One year ago I had a lap hysterectomy. My Doc stated that
she had to "Tear down" many adhesions. I recently had a
colonoscopy/endoscopy and the Doc stated that I had a "very twisted and
reduntant large intestine." Could Adhesions cause this condition? Since
the precedure I have nearly continous pain in my left abdomen. I called
the endo doc. and he thinks it is because he put me on 3000 mg of
antibiotics for the Hpylori bacteria in my stomach. I think the pain is
from my large intestine. Sorry to ramble on but I am looking for any
help I can get. What kind of a doc does a person see to check for
adhesions?
