SSA office told me they [SSA] get audited from time to time and they
must be thorough. At the time of the application I listed other things
besides the complicated surgical history. These CE's were for those
"other" things, so they tell me :-) I had to ask because I found it
strange myself.
Your right, the documentation and how it is presented is a big deal! I
also put together a notebook with tab dividers of all the surgeries,
included pics and Doctor statements. I have not heard from SSA yet but
I expect a "win" first time out since the Veterans Admin granted me the
win a week ago. SSA and VA work close together.
