Yes, I developed (2) entero-colonic fistula's [holes] that communicate from small intestine to large intestine creating a digestion short cut. The small intestine adhesed to my large intestine, and and my body thru inflammation poked a hole between them. They are inoperable, this is a risk surgery carries when there is bowel manipulation during exploratory's.

I have had 10 surgeries, always got temp pain relief and normal bowel function back. Then the same thing repeats and repeats. My last surgery was Dec 1994, and the only way they will go back in is if it is life or death.

I am on pain management, Veterans Administration already awarded me 100% unemployability, and my Soc Sec disability case is pending, it has been 13 months, and we have gotten 2 denials and waiting for the judge hearing date.

My surgeries for bowel obstructions was the only time I agreed to surgery, I never opted for surgery for pain management. The more surgery I had the more complications appeared 10 years later...
