Jen, my pain dr has me on oxycodon and doxipen, plus lexapro for the depression. What makes my pain worse is the fact that I had a fundoplication for reflux disease. If I eat too much, the pain feels like a heart attack, so I try to eat 6 smalls meals a day. I also do crafts and card making to keep my mind busy. I listen to music, which is soothing. Have you tried soaking in a hot bath? I know nothing will completely take the pain away---just like you said, it's managed most of the time. I sent you an e-mail---hope I didn't bore you too much. I was once a regluar poster as I found this site in 2001 and it was very comforting to know we are not alone. Best Wishes, Pat
