in my experience, no it doesn't - because when your bowel is obstructed
you won't be able to even have a movement. eating will make it much
worse. if you have an obstruction it is best to go to the hospital so
you can be monitored - until it passes- or they will put a tube down
your nose and empty your stomach contents. if your able to vomit- it
saves time and pain (from the tube)...and the obstruction will make you
nausiated anyways.
