adhesions and ssi

I am currently trying to file for ssi I have had 12 surgeries in the
last 4 years al mostly related to the adhesions and the problems the
surgeries have caused. Does anyone have any helpfull hints for me to
make the process to go faster? Thank you for any support you can give.
