Adhesions can cause other problems

Quick history, August 2005 I had surgery to remove adhesions, doctor said he removed all he could, but thought I probably needed to go to Houston.

Finally November 2007 I had surgery in Houston, even though the doctor didn't really want to do it, he said with my history there wasn't many surgeons in Houston that would touch me. Well, he did the surgery and discovered that the adhesions had pulled apart a previous scar and the bowel was coming through it. So! that's a big reason why my pain was so dang bad. He said unless it would have ruptured, we never would have known it was there without going in.

Will my adhesions come back? Probably so, but I'm 44 years and will not live like that. I would come to work, go home and get in the bed, laying flat on my back seemed to give me relief. I didn't realize how bad I had felt until after the surgery and I felt like a new person!

I wish all of you the best, I know exactly how you feel.
