Debra,
If the pain is coming from your elbow, it sounds more like your ulnar
nerve. I actually had both my ulnar nerves damaged in a freak accident and
had surgery to "transpose" them. They actaully move the nerve to the inner
side of the arm vs. by the "funny bone". As far as from adhesions? IDK.
Mine involved the hyperextension and fracture of the radial head on the one
arm and the ulna on the other. They can check the ulnar and carpal nerves
with an EMG test. I'd ask the doc about it. If you leave it too long,
sometimes the numbness becomes permanent.
