When my issue was constipation like that, it was just like you donna, where it took me 10-14 days to do. My docs put me on Miralax 4 times a day. When it got me going regularly, we dropped it to 3, then 2 ,etc. Now, I haven't taken anything in 2 years, but I also stopped narcotic pain meds too. I take Tramadol to take"the edge" off, and just try to cope. Try the mirilax. My dose was 2 capfuls in juice, like apple juice, 4 times daily. IT works...believe me! Good luck. jeanne
