Hello! 
I have had the unexplained liver enzymes being too high the last two times I was hospitalized with an obstruction.  They don't stay up for very long but every time I'm in the hospital they go up.  Have you had any answers as to why yours did that?
Also, I have bad reflux and I'm on Prilosec twice daily and Carafate liquid 4 times daily.  It has helped me quite a bit.  I also drink a shake daily of protein powder, Citrucel, and Miralax...sounds awful, but tastes like an orange cream:)  I have had adhesions ever since my first abdominal surgery at 6 weeks as an infant, I'm 40 now.
I don't have a belly button either (and am a wonder and curiosity to friends;)! 
Sounds like we have some similar problems.  Maybe we have some coping strategies we can share too!

Adhesions can definitely cause painful sex. I have been suffering big time for the last 2 1/2 years. I know surgery can cause more and I seriously considered going to Germany, but I just don't have the money.  I'm on Long Term Disability and waiting to get an appointment to go before a judge. I am thankful for all the supportive messages, it saddens me to hear so
many others are experincing pain with adhesions as well, yet comforting
to have people to relate to on this subject!
My question that may or may not relate to adhesions is - can adhesions
cause intercourse to be painful?
I have read some on the message board with patients having adhesions on
ovaries/uterus...but since I have had a hysterectomy and left with only
one ovary ...  I was wondering if in my case an adhesion could still
possibly cause intercourse to be painful?
Any relationg articles or comments would be helpful on this subject!
