Dr. Redan is the medical director for minimally invasive surgery at
Celebration Health and also one of the directors of the surgical
learning institute. He has also opened CAPPS. I don't know for sure
why he moved to Florida...but I have been treated by him here.
Celebration Health is a wonderful hospital....they are very interested
in cutting edge techniques and have a great mission statement. The
majority of the physicians at Celebration Health are top in their
field....maybe just a good career move for him? I honestly don't know.
In response to some postings....I just hate to see people suffering from
adhesions. No doctor can guarantee a "cure". I think we need to go to
the best doctors we can. I myself am no longer in pain from adhesions.
Dr. Redan did not use any adhesion barriers. Why, then, am I pain free
from his treatment versus the number of other doctors/surgeries I went
through? I do believe the skill of the surgeon is a huge factor. But
unfortunately, there is no cure. Yet! I am truly hopeful that the
Sprayshield clinical trial Dr. Redan is involved in provides some
positive results! This would be great for adhesion patients....then
hopefully all could receive good care and "successful" treatment. I
truly wish all of you the best of luck with whichever doctor and
treatment you choose. I am grateful that more doctors seem to be
becoming aware of and treating adhesions. If there is anything I can do
