I certainly did not intend to offend you or anyone else on this board. I
am grateful to the people on this message board....they helped me
through some tough times. I am truly sorry your surgery did not work.
It really does depend on each person and their body. I don't think any
doctor can guarantee a cure, Dr. Redan included. I do not want to give
people false hope, but I do try to be positive. I believe that if you
do need surgery, you need to go to the best surgeon you can. Again,
going to the best surgeons are not a guarantee. But it does give you
greater odds of success. I am grateful that that choice I made....of
going to a great surgeon, was successful for me. I am so sorry that I
made you upset. Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't even post on
here....but I want to help. I try to provide encouragement and yes,
share my success hoping that it does affect someone in a positive way. I
too, have been desperate. And seeing some success stories on this board
made me choose to go to Dr. Redan. I would like to help others as I
have been helped. I have been pain free for over two years, now. I jog
and play tennis and enjoy my kids. These are things I couldn't imagine
doing while suffering from adhesions. I will always be grateful to the
people who supported me and to Dr. Redan, Dr. McCarus, and Dr. Soto
for not giving up on me.
