I am going in for a hernia repair and lysis of adhesions tomorrow. My surgeon is planning on a scope but it could be an open. I am nervous as I have already had two bowel resections and that possibility is high. He found it when my gall bladder was taken out in Oct. He cut up high for that to avoid trouble with the "mess" lower down. Had he gone through the naval, it would have gone right through the intestines. Also he says that me 7 previous surgeries made me very hernia prone. This is the never ending battle of starting out with endometriosis.
