Most doctors don't understand how serious adhesions are...you can't see them

on an MRI. My friend said her doctor gave her a non-narcotic anti-inflammatory patch and it helped the inflammation. I'm going to ask my

pain specialist/primary doctor for one. I had to go to the ER Saturday night because I was doubled over with pain. They couldn't find any blockage

but said I was constipated...Oh, well! I thought I was okay since I go once

a day. He said I need to use Miralax daily and drink lots of fluids.

So, what do you know about Spinal Cord Stimulators? The last two pain specialists I've gone to recommend I try one. I'm considering giving it a trial and if it works, that would be great. If it doesn't, I haven't lost anything. I already went through several years of wearing a morphine pump. I exhausted every medication the doctor could come up with but became immune

to everything he tried. It kept me so dopey. I liked it when it worked but

I got tired of the cost and getting immune to each med.

We have to keep on trying to find a doctor that will have compassion. Good luck and God Bless.

P.S. Have you considered getting a back brace at the medical supply store. It would pulled you up straight.
