Hey, Tramadol is an anti-inflammatory. Kind of like a "souped-up ibuprofen". It works great. But if you are prone to ulcers..be careful. It will bother them. has anyone here had experience with long term use of tramadol? It is helping to reduce pain and I have very few side effects. Opiates make me ITCH and tramadol is a synthetic opiate, not rated as a narcotic and is much easier on my overall health, so far, than any other pain med I have used.
I white-nuckled it through the last 6 month long pain episode leading up to last surgery. Surgery was only 3 1/2 months ago and it is too soon for another. I just can't get through without some pharmacutical help this time.
