WOW Chris I am sorry you are dealing with it in the way you are forced to. I dont know where you live but I am going to a adhesion specialist next week in celebration florida, dr. redan. I am very excited as i like you, have had multiple surgeries and my surgeon where i live - sarasota, florida-does not want to do any more operations unless it is an emergency. I had a blockage last month which is caused by adhesions but he just removed the blockage with a NG tube down my nose to suck out all the food that was not going through and sent me home. yes it got relief-for the moment- but it did not fix the problem - the adhesions. all i can suggest is you find a different pain mangement doctor and explain to him/her what is going on you should not have to deal with this pain without anything to help. I cant believe that your doctor wont give you anything for relief. I seriously am shocked...doesnt your doctor know what the adhesions feel like?????, is your doctor not updated on adhesions at all????It is such a shame that your life has to be the way it is. I know that I am getting alot of help from this website, this is where i heard about dr. redan. maybe someone knows of a doctor in your area on this site.

I am sorry you have to be left out to be in pain like that....I pray for relief good luck to you Chris

Sender: cehlers@fuse.net (Chris Ehlers) ubject: Lack of medical support After battling abdominal adhesion for 15 years and some 17 surgeries I ave reached a dead end. The surgeon who had been treating me and had erformed all of my abdominal surgeries was, due to poor health, forced o retire. The surgeons I have seen since (5 to be exact) have told me hat no matter how painful or nauseating I may get they will not do any ore surgeries. The last surgeon referred me to a pain clinic where the octor has told me no more medication to relieve the symptoms. When sked what my options are, they just shrug their shoulders. My world as become the couch, TV, books, and internet. And I can only use those n good days. On bad days (of which there are many) I curl up in a ball nd pray for relief that never comes. I don't know where to turn and ould appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Chris
