MTV!s True Life:
I Can!t Have Sex
Are you unable to have sex because of a physical or psychological problem?
Do you think you may suffer from dyspareunia (painful sex), vaginismus,
vulvodynia, endometriosis, pelvic pain, MRKH, or any other problem that
would prevent you from having intercourse? Or do you suffer from hypoactive
sexual arousal disorder or an emotional disorder that prevents you from
having a healthy sex life?

If this describes you, and you appear to be between the ages of 18 and 29, then MTV’s “True Life” would like to hear from you.

MTV is producing an hour-long documentary that will chronicle the lives of three young people who currently cannot have sex. We know that these problems are rarely talked about and almost never addressed in the media. We hope that by telling these stories, we’ll de-mystify this issue. About “True Life”

“True Life” is a documentary series that’s been on MTV for 12 years. Each episode is about a different topic. Most of the topics have some social importance, like this one. Some of them are about more frivolous aspects of youth culture. All episodes aim to tell deeply personal stories. There is no host, reporter or narrator; young people tell their own stories.

Who We’re Looking For We have no preference for race, socio-economic status, religion, etc. We’re looking for people who can be honest, open and articulate about their lives.

We never pay anyone to participate in “True Life.”

Privacy Any correspondence you have with us will be strictly confidential. We will not use any part of your story until you feel totally comfortable with the process and you sign a legal waiver and we begin filming.

If you’re interested in participating or you just want to find out more about this episode, please contact us at: tlcanthavesex@gmail.com
