Quick history, I was born with a duodenal web and had it clear out. I
had several other visits to the surgeon to clean out adhesions. They
finally cleared them out, but I was left with some significant GERD.
>From the ages 2-12 I visited the doctor to get me esophagus dilated once
a year.
Finally a surgeon suggested a nissen. I have been in amazing help since then. I'm now 29. I'm wondering how concerned I should be about developing adhesions. It's been about 17 years. Of course I'll always have more risk than others, but is my worry misplaces.
Thanks,
