Oh my gosh! Your message just hit me like a ton of bricks. I had my gallbladder removed in 1990 whole 8 months pregnant. About a year after the surgery, I had crippling episodes of pain. At that time, I was very active physically. Two years later and after many doctor visits with no answers other than that I was depressed, a ob specialist did exploratory surgery. She said when she did the incision there was a huge wall of scar tissue that had adhered to everything in my abdomen including my uterus that hadn't dropped after childbirth. Even though they remove the adhesions, they keep returning. My left side especially up under my left rib cage causes me the most pain. I am always hurting. On all kinds of pain meds but sometimes even they can't take away the pain completely. I understood what u said about having a hard time breathing. I do too. Coughing hurts. I too keep saying something has adhered in that area. All I can say when doctors are clueless is that I know something is wrong. I know before anyone responds that u have all thought that too. We know something isn't right. Why don't they listen? For fear of appearing stupid when they can't figure it out? Just because a doctor can't find the problem doesn't mean something isn't wrong. I have learned that the hard way. Stay strong. Battle for another day everyday. We deserve it too. Is hard I know. Pray...
