I am a 44 year old woman who has had endometriosis surgeries every year between 1986 and 2000. During this time, i also developed extensive adhesions. Based on my doctor's advice, after trying to get pregnant to no avail, allowed him to do a hysterectomy in 2006. Since then, i have not had any pain related until the beginning of this summer. Over the summer season, the same pain has returned and consistently gotten worse over the last several months. Now, Im back in the same pain i was in during those years when they were doing surgeries every year.

My gp has been wonderful in helping me with pain meds, although neither she nor I want her to continue to do that. Just went to see a "specialist" this morning at Ohio State University and she insisted that adhesions have little or no cause in a woman's pain. Interesting, don't you think? Obviously i chose not to hire her.

I have seen 3 OB/Gyn's in the last several months and can't get one to know what they are doing. You know how it goes, you make the appointment for a month down the road, then you go to the appointment, make the copay and discover they don't really have any wisdom in the area i am asking them about. Then, i leave that appointment, go home, do some more research, make another appointment for another month out, then go to the appointment, pay the copay, not to mention the gas and time. Same old story . . .

So, I have called Dr Wiseman and left a message for doctors in my area but he hasn't had an opportunity to respond. I also sent an email. While I am waiting, does anyone on this board know any doctors, adhesion/endometriosis and pain?????

if anyone has any ideas or recommendations, I would be so very grateful. I did see on a previous post of a doctor in eastern Pa., but that would be way too far to go. But on the edge of Ohio state lines would be doable.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!!!!
