I have had two full abdomen cuts, mymomectomy, partial hyst also. I have over used the laxative options from overuse. I have had the NG tube, lost tens of pounds of weight and eat seldom as I am partial obstructed Miralax does seem to help. it is an ostmotic laxative depending on fluid and motion to help you go to the bathroom. I hope it might help you.
