Hi Toni: I'm pretty sure an ultrasound wouldn't show anything with adhesions. It doesn't with endometriosis. I don't know about MRI. I know next to nothing about ovarian remnant syndrome. Since you don't have endo, I'm not sure what problems it would cause if it were there. I would think that with all the adhesions that your gyn described in the pelvis that 1) it would be pretty difficult to see a remnant of ovarian tissue and 2) those adhesions could account for the pain you are having on the right side. But I am no doctor! Don't you just love it when one doctor says one thing and another says the opposite! The down side of seeing multiple doctors I guess.
