new drug

Hi, I went yesterday to pain clinic, and the dr increased my Neurotin to
to 900 mgs a day and she started me on a pain killer called oxycontin,
she said it was a long acting narcotic, and I had bowled the night
before, so I was pretty uncomfortable yesterday, so they found me in
tears, I have to say I took one of them yesterday, and I got alot of
relief from this drug, it made me feel weird , but after I ate some
dinner I was okay. Finally someone has found something to help me. I
see the gyn Mon. so I am sure he will be happy to see me in some
relief, I do know he cares, and I do respect the fact that all my drs
say NO more surgery, I understand they are ALL afraid of damaging the
bowel beyond repair.
As long as they can keep me comfortable, FINALLY, I am happy. They also
said that they see I am not abusing any of them, he said he has patients
that eat darvocet like candy, but I still had my whole refill from the
visit before.
I am feeling alittle better today, and I hope it lasts awhile!
