Hello everyone:

I am a little bit confused. I have been told by my doctor...that once adhesions attach themselves..they usually stay where they are..and dont progress. I had surgery about 9 months ago to lyse them..and i know they are back to where they were before the surgery, because I feel exactly the same. He says no more surgery! Leave it alone..and leave it all be.

So do adhesions progress and keep growing? I know I feel the daily burning sensation. Is this the adhesions growing and adhereing more, and attaching more and more to my intestines? So overtime, what happens? all of my insides get grown over with adhesions?

Does anyone know what the burning sensation is, I am assuming that its because the area is slightly inflamated? And are any of you on anti-inflamatory medications?

Thank you all for your help and advice.

Helen
