Hello everyone, Well I had to give in and go to the emergency room last
night. The pain in my back was excruciating. I could not bend down or
straighten up. My intestines are very tender and I am somewhat swollen
with a low grade temp. I am heading for another bowel obstruction. The
doctor I saw at the ER was honest with me, he said I was in a vicious
cycle. Due to my adhesions on the intestines and bowel, they move very
slowly. Due to chronic pain I take pain meds. which also slow down
intestines. I have a list of things to get today to move bowels. Oh
well. I have read that some of you have to use enemas also. Can anyone
give advise on what works best? I have got to resolve this. I do not
want the NG tube again. Thanks for all your words of encouragement, I
know I am not alone. Sherry
