I saw my pcp today and she spent a lot of time with me today going over everything. She called the GI while as was at her office and by the time I got back to my office my GI had called me to apologize for not scheduling a follow up to discuss the results of the biopsy and set me up an appointment after normal office hours so that we can have plenty of time to talk about what to do next! My pcp also gave me a perscription for Remeron, a new medicine for depression that is supposed to help with chronic pain as well as help me sleep. Both the pcp and gi feel that I need to go back to a surgeon for an opinion regarding adhesions but I feel so much better about my doctors as they really listened to me today. I want to thank everyone for their help and advice, I felt more in control and able to really speak up for the first time and it's because of all of you. Thanks again. Ginny
