Maureen As someone else asked, what did the doctor do about the adhesions? Were they cut and/or removed? I had surgery in May for adhesions, although my symptoms weren't as bad as yours, and a follow up in July to check on a new gel, Intergel, that is being tested to see if it prevents adhesion re-formation. On me, it seems to have worked very well and should be out on the open market sometime early next year. But if you have adhesions attached to the bowel, or they can even go through the bowel, you'll more than likely have to have a bowel surgeon remove them. Although there are a few doctors who specialize in women's pelvic surgery who might also be able to help.
