Hey Chris,

When are you leaving? I'm sure gonna miss you. Here it is another Friday night, I closed the biggest deal of my career today and my daughter is out on a date and my husband went on a "boys weekend out". So I am all alone, in pain and feeling sorry for myself. Oh Well... I do not usually have ulcers in my mouth, just burning. When it really burns for several days straight the top layer of skin in my entire mouth will just peel off in large sections almost like a sunburn. Not even my new GI has an explaination for this, everyone just shrugs their shoulders. When I read through my past reports I saw where two of my doctors noted that I made this complaint and stated that they did not feel this was relative to what was wrong with me. I thought this was very interesting as this was during the time they told me they did not know what was wrong with me, so how could they be so sure it's not related!!! As for the burning eyes, I'm not sure if it's the Crohn's as it seems to be at it's worst when my blood sugar is very low. Of course my blood sugar is always off when I am in an active state of Crohn's. So is it the chicken or the egg? Yes the pain is bad in the morning. I look like I'm eighty years old when I try to get started. It's been bad lately since I can't seem to get my ankle to heal from where I fainted earlier this summer and twisted it. I'm afraid I may have done more damage to it htan just a sprain but I have not even brought it up to my PCP because I'm embarrased. I still play tennis (even with the ankle, I just brace it then ice it when I get home) I have given up singles, running, and my step classes. I just hate to give something I enjoy as I have given up on so much. I have cut back though and don't play as often in competetive tournaments. I'm also not sure I can keep up with the Remeron they gave me. It seems like I am going through more episodes of depression and anxiety than before, not to mention several other side effects. It seems that if a drug has a side effect, I experience it. I hope you have a wonderful trip and look forward to hearing all about it when you return. Best wishes. Ginny
