Hey everyone,

I called my pcp today at 2:00pm after not hearing from them, They said "Oh, Dr. Gerber ordered a referral to a neurologist stat and you should have seen him yesterday" I was like' OK WHEN WERE YOU GUYS GOING TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW THIS. And yes I was yelling. I am so exhausted and my vision has not cleared and I was really scared. Anyway, he was able to fit me in at 3:00 and spent an hour and half with me. Several times he reach over and held my hand and told me it was going to be ok and he would stay with me until we figured this out. A real human being!!! Anyway, the meds I am on do not cause seizures. He put me on neurontin because it not only helps seizures but is supposed to help with the pain. He did indicate that in rare instances Crohn's can cause seizures. I have an MRI scheduled for Thursday to rule out anything more serious. He said some people just develop seizure disorders for no reason and they just have to give you medication to control them. After talking with him we realized that I had been having partial seizures for a while, losing time and smelling odors that no one else could. Oh well, just add it to my list of things they can't explain. But at least he was so kind and really listened to me. I feel so much better just being under his care. Anyway, I hope everyone else is doing as well as they can. Thanks for the support. Ginny
