Hi Chris,
You and I are in somewhat of the same boat. I was forced
to switch PCP's because mine told me to find a new Dr., he didn't want
to deal with me anymore! So I'm in the middle of the month, can't see
new doc til the 1st, and can't be treated or seen by my present doc.
because of the personality conflicts. I'm between a rock and a hard
place. What I am doing is "holding on" and suffering til I see new doc.
One thing I am going to try not to do is have alot of high expectations
for that 1st visit--just way too much to go over, poor guy will be
overwhelmed I am sure.
But the good news is, if he turns out to be great, I'll let you know and
you can give him a try yourself and hopefully get some relief!
I did read on obgyn.net yesterday, somewhere on there, about the
referred pelvic pain syndrome and it is REAL, can be diagnosed and
treated. I wish I had saved the bookmark, but maybe you can do a search
and find it? Hope it helps.
