Hi Merri Ellen,

I would think that if you had a resection of the bowel that scar tissue could form and cause the bowel to narrow at that point. I know that Crohn's can cause scarring to form inside the bowel wall where previous inflammation was, so it seems logical that bowel surgery could cause the same. Best of luck to you. Ginny
