Hello Rhonda, Welcome to the forum! I haven't been here but a few months. I have as so many of have learn and continue to learn daily. I can tell you my experience with pain managment. You will find different anwsers as to the clinic and doctor. I have been to pain doc twice and have another appt on the 15th. The doctor is helping me control my pain so far. I am on VERY strong opiote patches. They do help and I can tell if I let them wear off. I don't agree with the nerve blocks he does, as the pain is in my gut NOT my back. I do have some pain in my back right above my waist and in my upper thighs if I stand or try to walk too much. But the block hasn't helped much. Thats my anwser to your first. I don't know about the referring or doctors in your area. I did however, ask Dr David Wiseman about referring and he did give a couple of names, you might try that. As for your last question... Reasonable is whether or you not you find a doctor to reconize adhesions and is willing to do anything about it. That depends on who you go to and what they believe. As most all the members here, we know how hard it is to find a doctor to help and believe your not nuts. Sometimes it sure makes you wanna believe it. I hope I helped you. There is someone who can anwser your questions as well. Good Luck, Teresa
